For the past few months, I’ve worked as an editorial intern for SLAM, one of the largest basketball magazine and media companies in the world. I’ve written news briefs, game recaps, previews, the Warm-Up newsletter and feature stories for the company’s website and bimonthly print magazines. I’ve covered all levels of competition, including the NBA, WNBA, NCAA and high school.

I contributed to lehighvalleylive.com’s statewide project highlighting the financial and societal impacts caused by the change of the opening day of Pennsylvania rifle hunting season. Here, I interviewed Punxsutawney gun store owner Beverly Rugh to discuss the impacts the change had on her own business.

I completed a summer internship with sports media start-up Pro Sports Fans. I wrote articles about the MLB and NFL and also participated in live broadcasted podcasts discussing hot topics across both leagues. A link to my MLB coverage can be found below. After my two years on Lehigh’s Orientation staff, I was interviewed by the University to discuss the impacts the first-year bLUeprint has on incoming Lehigh students.
