Luke knew he wanted to pursue a storytelling career ever since he saw the MythBusters blowing up science experiments and Jeremy Wade traversing the world on River Monsters. In 2014, he became an avid reader of Grantland (a few years too late); a moment that sparked a dream of becoming a sports journalist.

That dream took him to Lehigh University, where he became the sports editor for The Brown & White, in addition to directing the newspaper’s multimedia department, all while soaking up every lesson and course that crossed his path. Storytelling in print, photo, video, and radio for The Brown & White, SLAM Magazine, and Bethlehem’s NPR-affiliate station, Luke racked up local and national recognition for his feature and game recap work. Since graduating from Lehigh, Luke has become a community news reporter and designer for The Baltimore Sun, seeking to uncover stories in Harford County, Maryland.
